Optimal Design of Experiments for Implicit Models

Explicit models representing the response variables as functions of control are standard in virtually all scientific fields. For these models, there is a vast literature on optimal design experiments (ODoE) to provide good estimates parameters with use minimal resources. Contrarily, ODoE for implicit more complex and has not been systematically addressed. Nevertheless, practical examples where relating variables, factors or hardly convertible into an explicit form. We propose general formulation developing theory algebraic specifically find continuous local designs. The treatment relies converting problem optimization nonlinear programming (NLP) class which includes construction parameter sensitivities Cholesky decomposition Fisher information matrix.
